Experience
I am currently an undergraduate, fresh to Chicago moving from Gallup, New Mexico. At my high school I did engage in tutoring middle school students where I believe I picked up some great experience in the field. My town is low in test scores and has a large drop out rate which led me to have a passion for tutoring younger children and teaching the importance of education. Reaching the younger generations I believe is prevalent not only to the state of education in the country but also to instill bright futures. I have taken AP Literature & Composition, AP Language & Composition, been enrolled in the GATE program (Gifted and Talented Education) and also took a GUILD mentoring course for a full year while in high school. My AP test scores had an average of 3 and my ACT scored at an 18. I am confident that my range of experience and talents will be a great help to University Tutor and an even greater help to the students.

Hobbies
My hobbies include reading, writing, and photography. I am an avid reader of children fiction along with every other genre. I enjoy using writing and photography as a tool in learning and self expression which I believe every child should posses.
